My name is Emily Rhyne and I am a singer/songwriter. I will graduate from East Central University in December 2022 with a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communication/Media Production.
I come from a musical family and am currently a featured artist at Ole Red in Tishomingo, OK. My band, Oklahoma Legacy, plays several venues around the area. I have opened for the Josh Abbott Band, Mikayla Lane, The Joy Reunion, Pete Mroz, Peedy Chavis, Carson Peters, ,Chris Cagle, Johnny Lee, The Sons of Bocephus and many more.
Oklahoma Legacy found its name through the members commonalities: Each musician is either descendant of an Oklahoma musician or has created their own legacy and reputation throughout their community. The members have over 100 years of combined experience.
I plan on pursuing a career in music after college as well as releasing another album and broadening my audience. I hope to follow in my family's footsteps in the music industry with all I have learned from my time as a Mass Communication major.
